“Our Little Secret” sees Lohan and Ian Harding (“Pretty Little Liars”) play two resentful exes who are forced to spend Christmas under the same roof after discovering that their current partners are siblings. Things are only complicated further when Lohan’s character butts heads with her boyfriend’s mother, played by Kristin Chenoweth. Other cast members include Tim Meadows, Jon Rudnitsky, Henry Czerny, Judy Reyes, Chris Parnell, Dan Bucatinsky, Katie Baker, Jake Brennan, Ash Santos and Brian Unger.
“It’s so beautiful to be able to do films that are associated with holidays because it’s family time,” Lohan said, who serves as executive producer as well as star. “When you can make a movie that families can remember and come together to see, it makes it all the more special.”
“Our Little Secret” marks Lohan’s third collaboration and second holiday feature with the streamer. She previously led the cast of “Falling for Christmas” in 2022 and starred in “Irish Wish” earlier this year. Lohan served as executive producer on both films.
Stephen Herek (“Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure,” “Critters”) serves as director with a script from Hailey DeDominicis. Lisa Gooding and Mike Elliott produce while Joseph P. Genier and Lohan executive produce.
“Our Little Secret,” which hits Netflix on Nov. 27, marks the grand finale of the streamer’s four-week string of romantic comedy premieres. The Christina Milian-led “Meet Me Next Christmas” comes down the chimney on Nov. 6, “Hot Frosty” with Lacey Chabert and Dustin Milligan premieres on Nov. 13, and “The Merry Gentlemen” starring Chad Michael Murray debuts on Nov. 20.
Netflix’s holiday season lineup also includes NFL’s two Christmas Day marquee games, Christmas-set thriller “Carry On” with Taron Egerton, animated feature “That Christmas,” Keira Knightley-led holiday mystery series “Black Doves” and Sabrina Carpenter’s “A Nonsense Christmas” special.
